We examined the relationship between foreign objects captured in images and the product packaging of food manufacturer products through image analysis.
Features Verification of the relationship between foreign objects and packaging We analyze product images and videos to verify the position of any foreign objects captured in relation to the container or packaging film. By not only simply enlarging the images but also organizing how the foreign objects overlap with the packaging and their spatial relationships, we can objectively confirm the positions of foreign objects that are difficult to assess visually. Comprehensive analysis of multiple image features We analyze multiple features that appear in the images, such as the contours of foreign objects, reflections of light and shadows, and how they appear through the packaging film. Furthermore, by checking the consistency with the shape and structure of the container and packaging film, we conduct a comprehensive assessment that does not rely solely on specific features. Provision of judgment materials for quality and safety We organize the verified content and judgment results into an analysis report. This can be used as a basis for decision-making when considering policies regarding product quality and safety, as well as serving as an objective basis for explaining the investigation results to internal and external stakeholders.
